I made the most amazing decision this year… I went to the yoga retreat in Tulum with Radiant, wonderful yogis.
I’m from a very little town in Quebec province so for me, Newport Beach life was such a change. My family are all still in Quebec, and I was feeling really lonely here.
I started doing yoga at Radiant 1 year ago and some how, I felt so good and connected there. All the teachers and yogis seem to have such a good hearts and wonderful souls. I decided to go on the yoga retreat to get to know some more of these amazing people (it was a challenge for me because I’m a little shy and isolated person). I felt so great during this amazing retreat. It made me go back down to earth and give me the opportunity to feel love from a new family!!
Last thing I can say its that you have to try to feel it!”
My experience on the retreat in Tulum was one for the books.
The Amansala Resort was beautiful, our room just being steps away from the beach. The food was amazing, fresh, and surprisingly heathly!
My favorite activities on the trip had to be between snorkeling in the Grand Cenote and walking through the ancient city of Chichén Itzá. I would go back again in a heartbeat.“
Thank you for organizing a beautiful and restorative yoga retreat in Tulum!
Ali and I had such an amazing and transformational experience. It was the perfect mother/daughter trip. There was so much tranquility found sitting on the beach admiring the clear blue water, pure white sand, and the calming sensation from the ocean breeze.
We felt a shift within ourselves to total inner peace through your twice-daily yoga, Mayan Clay meditation, healthy meals, massages, and excursions. We appreciate your personal and genuine care given to each of us.
Let’s not forget the spontaneous nighttime dancing. FUN!
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I made the decision to sign up for the retreat, I wasn’t sure if I would know anyone who was going? Would I be the only male on the trip? Are there gonna be showers? What exactly is Eco-chic? But I knew it was going to be a once in a lifetime experience that I didn’t want to miss.
I was partially looking forward to “disconnecting” on the retreat but what happened was I was able to “connect” with so many amazing people and share this spiritual adventure.
My feet felt so grounded while I was in Tulum and luckily I have been able to bring that special experience back home with me and I am signed up and looking forward to driving to the airport August 15th for the next retreat! Today I feel more alive than ever and I am so thankful for the radiant family and the lil push for me to get involved with this retreat!?
I actually had thought of every excuse in the book not to go! Money, time, long flight, don’t know anyone well enough to travel with, time off, etc…. It just took Yasi to say “Why not”. And so a life changing (or life altering) journey began with: new friends, new experiences, new culture, new foods, new places, time away, meditation, yoga, connecting with self, connecting with people.
It was transformational. Especially because of all the reasons you come up with not to go. It just takes a decision to say yes and everything else falls into place. The only one holding you back is you.
Do it! Step outside your comfort zone. Make new friends. Grow. That’s truly what this trip was about for me. And no better group of people to do it with than my new yogi family!
I was recently part of the wonderful Radiant Hot Yoga retreat, set in the town of Tulum, located in the tropical Yucatan Peninsula, surrounded by the pure blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico before us and the never-ending green jungle set behind us.
Each day at the peaceful and restorative Amansala Resort was a gift: opening with yoga first thing in the morning, continuing with new-found insights as friendships were being made and strengthened, and finally ending in the evening with the knowledge that life is truly about the human connections we make.
It was spiritual. It was humbling. It was amazing.”
